Joshua Gonzalez paces Whitehall over Montague in a WMC tourney boys soccer game

The Whitehall boys soccer squad cruised past Montague 8-0 on Monday in a West Michigan Conference tournament game.

The Vikings, who improved to 9-7-2 on the season, will face North Muskegon on Wednesday night.

Whitehall was led by Joshua Gonzalez with three goals and an assist while Logan Diehm added two goals and three assists.

Brett Evans, Tyler Brandel and Julian Pruitt each chipped in with a goal and Collin Mahan contributed with two assists for the Vikings.

Whitehall’s goalkeeper Josh Bosio stopped two shots for a shutout victory in net.
