The Mona Shores hockey team will keep playing another day.
The Sailors topped Grand Rapids West Catholic 5-1 in a Division 2 pre-regional contest on Tuesday at the Lakeshore Sports Center in Muskegon.
Erick Hannah led Mona Shores with two goals and two assists. Connor Winegar, Spencer Anderson and Jager Kelly each tallied goals for the Sailors. Andrew Swirczek, Caleb Goes, Justin Winegard, Andrew Taylor, Ryan Wolf and Matt Martin each tallied assists.
The Sailors now advance to face Forest Hills Northeastern on Thursday for a 7 p.m. puck drop.
