Eonte Tornes 21-point performance propelled the Muskegon boys basketball team over Grand Rapids Union 50-39 on Wednesday in a Class A district semifinal game.
The Big Reds led 12-11 after the first quarter, 28-21 at halftime and 37-28 
heading into the final stanza.
Tornes also grabbed seven rebounds for Muskegon, while Vern Nash added nine points and Willie Shanks scored seven.
The Big Reds will face the winner of Grand Haven and Mona Shores on Friday in the district finals.
