The Fremont boys basketball team won its 13th straight game on Tuesday with a convincing 78-52 victory over Newaygo in CSAA Gold Division action.

Fremont controlled the game from start to finish, opening up a 26-12 advantage after the first quarter and leading by double digits the rest of the way.

The Packers had 11 different players score, with some big individual performances.

Braiden McDonald led all scorers with 26 points and Calvin Miller contributed 18. Logan Karnemaat also had another standout game with a triple-double – 13 points, 11 blocks and 10 rebounds, plus five assists.

Fremont is now 15-1 overall and 10-1 in the conference.
