Ludington’s first-half surge too much for Grant in Lakes 8 girls basketball

The Ludington Orioles held the Grant Tigers scoreless in the second quarter on Monday and cruised to a 59-21 girls basketball victory.

The Orioles led 37-7 at the half.

D’Erica Varenhorst led Ludington with 18 points while Molly Hallead added 13. Logan Meeker had nine points and seven assists.

Dayle Wood and C.J. Freeman had six points each for Grant.
