MASON COUNTY CENTRAL HAS SIX WRESTLERS EARN TRIP TO STATE FINALS AFTER SATURDAY’S DIVISION 3 INDIVIDUAL WRESTLING REGIONAL

Mason County Central qualified six wrestlers for the state finals on Saturday at the Division 3 individual regional wrestling tournament on at Kingsley High School.

The top-four wrestlers in each weight class advanced to the Individual State Finals Feb. 28-March 2 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Trevor Skinner (119) placed second to lead the Spartans.

Jarod Alvesttefer (171) Josh Quinn (189), Doug Wyman (285) all placed third for MCC and Logan Merrick (135) and Justin Steiger (160) placed fourth.

Ludinvton’s Dylan Sorensen (215) was a regional champion and will wrestle at the state finals as well.
