The Muskegon Community College baseball team split its doubleheader with Southeastern on Wednesday.

The Jayhawks dropped an 8-7 decision in the opener and won the nightcap 3-2.

In Game 1. Chris Williams had three hits, two of which were doubles. Greg Chulski added two hits as did Travis Cohoon, who had a three-run homer.  Drew Johnson also added two hits, including an inside the park home run.

In Game 2, Brad Keller pitched six innings and allowed five hits. Bryant Westra picked up his first save of the season. Ty Devine had three hits for the Jayhawks and Cale Gould added two, including a double.

The Jayhawks are 3-4 and play a twinbill against Mercyhurst Northeastern on Thursday.
