MUSKEGON BEATS CROSSTOWN RIVAL MONA SHORES IN OK BLACK BOYS BASKETBALL

Muskegon used a big first half to earn a 90-75 OK Black Conference win over crosstown rival Mona Shores on Tuesday night.

The Big Reds led 53-29 halftime lead and used balanced scoring in the win.

Muskegon had 10 players score, led by Deshaun Thrower’s 19 points.

Jason Loera added 13 points for the Big Reds.

Marcus Tumblin led the Sailors with 13 points and seven rebounds. Adreon Billips added 12 points and Adam Rayner and Jamarius Williams scored 10 each.  Rayner also had seven rebounds and six blocked shots.

Mona Shores is 9-8, 4-5 in the OK Black.
