It was a tale of two halves on Tuesday night.
The Orchard View Cardinals outscored the Shelby Tigers 36-18 in the first half then hung on for a 55-51 victory in nonleague girls basketball action.
Shelby outscored OV 33-19 in the second half, but fell just short.
Diamond McGee led OV with 19 points, Jayshonna Blackshire added 10 points and six assists and Chelsie Nash had 10 points.
