The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks’ baseball team had a rough road trip to Jackson on Sunday.
The Jayhawks dropped the opener 2-1 and the nightcap 5-3.
Nick Eely struck out five and allowed four hits in being saddled with the loss.
In the second game, the Jayhawks committed five errors and could not a clutch hit. M.J. Oshinski and Greg Chulski each had two hits for the Jayhawks.
MCC (21-11, 12-5) returns to action Tuesday at Grand Rapids.
