Oakridge offense was tough to match in its 6-0 win over Whitehall. The Eagles led 4-0 at halftime in the Division 3 district opener.

Keyara Wiard gave Oakridge a 1-0 lead 13 minutes into the game on an assist from Hannah Lauser.

Six minutes later, Shelby Wilde put the Eagles up 2-0 on a pass from Gabby Snider.

“We have struggled with finishing all season,” said Oakridge coach Jeff Lohman.  “It was nice to see the girls have some quality finished goals.”

Ashley Weaver put Oakridge up 3-0 late in the half off a pass from Nicole Karel. Weaver split the defense on a pair of moves and found the corner of the goal.

Hannah Lauser added another goal one minute before halftime. Wiard assisted on the goal.

The Eagles didn’t let up after halftime getting a quick goal from Emily Jacoutot 1 minute into the second half.  Brandy Weaver assisted on the goal.

Shelby Wilde added another goal midway through the half on a Emily Jacoutot assist.

Goalie McKayla Wall posted the shutout in goal for Oakridge with three saves.

The Eagles outshot Whiehall 11-3.

Oakridge moves on to face Shelby at 4 p.m. Thursday at Oakridge High School.
