Fremont edges Montague on Marissa Spickerman’s 23 points

Fremont edged out Montague in non-league girls basketball action on Monday. The Packers won 46-38 and were led by Marissa Spickerman’s 23 points.

The Packers defense also aided in the win as they held a 23-14 halftime lead.

Katie Parkhurst added six points and Hailey Lensky scored five for Fremont who had seven players score.

Montague was led by Morgan Shugars with 13 points while Hailey Cockerill added 10 points and Katie Webster chipped in eight.
