WHITE CLOUD – The White Cloud girls basketball team took down Chippewa Hills, 32-22, in the CSAA tournament on Monday night.

“We had a lot of positives from tonight,” said White Cloud coach Caleb Wilk. “We executed plays well, our defense did a pretty good job, and we were aggressive.”

With the aggressiveness, the Indians found themselves at the free-throw line often, but struggled with 18 misses.

“This is something that can’t happen next week in districts,” said Wilk. “We need every point we can get.”

Brooke Ringler led White Cloud with a season-high 13 points. Annie Feldpausch scored six points and Jaden Gomez added five points.

White Cloud (8-13) will be at home against Howard City Tri-County on Thursday to close out the conference tournament.
