Spring Lake’s RJ Morrow shined in the pitching circle and at the plate Tuesday as the Lakers overwhelmed Muskegon Catholic in a Lakes 8 Conference doubleheader, 18-0 and 19-4.
In the nightcap, the Lakers took control by scoring 10 runs in the first inning.
Morrow had two hits in the victory, including a three-run homer. Randi Rice and Katie Mumby each tallied two hits.
Laura Park picked up the win on the mound for the Lakers, who improved to 8-2 overall and 6-0 in the league.
