The Western Michigan Christian softball team dropped a pair of games to host Onekama on Saturday, 4-2 and 8-5.LSJ Logo incert

Both teams traded runs in the first inning of Game 1. Onekama added single runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings. WMC ended the scoring by plating one run in the top of the 6th.

Leading WMC offensively were Catherine Bradford-Royle and Haylee Moser, who were both 3-for-3.  

Moser pitched five innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on five hits while striking out five.

In the second game, WMC led 3-1 after three innings, but Onekama rallied with six runs in the fifth and sixth to steal the victory.

Ashley Sandin led a balanced WMC offense with three hits and one RBI. Moser again handled the pitching duties, giving up eight runs (four earned) on five hits while striking out seven in six innings.
