Pistons 110, 76ers 97 – The Pistons overcome a slow offensive start to defeat the last place Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.

LSJ Logo incertThe 76ers held Detroit to 12 first quarter points and maintained a lead throughout most of the night.

The Pistons closed out the game strong, outscoring Philadelphia 36-18 during the fourth quarter.

Reggie Jackson paced the Pistons with 27 points, while Andre Drummond posted another double-double with 25 points and 18 rebounds.

The 76ers were led by Jerami Grant with 21 points, while Nerlens Nole added 20 points.

The Pistons are now 25-21 on the season, good for a sixth place tie in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Detroit will remain home to host the Central Division leading Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
