The Muskegon Big Reds used a big second quarter to gain a 54-41 victory over previously unbeaten Ypsilanti on Saturday.
The Big Reds outscored their opponent 14-4 in the second quarter of what was otherwise a close game.
Leading Muskegon was Jermane Golidy with 18 points and seven rebounds. Michael Littlejohn scored 14 points to go along with four assists.
Jamezell Davis scored 16 points for Ypsilanti.
