The Muskegon Catholic girl’s basketball team defeated Kent City Algoma Christian 57-24 on Wednesday night in the Class D district semifinals.
The Crusaders came out cold in the first quarter, only scoring seven points, but still led 7-4 at the buzzer.
But MCC blew the game out in the second and third quarters, outscoring Algoma 35-8.
Talia Tyler paced the Crusaders with 11 points on the night.
Muskegon Catholic will play Fruitport Calvary Christian in the district finals on Friday at 7 p.m.
