Despite a strong pitching performance from Kyle Wildfong, Holton’s varisty baseball team couldn’t pull out a win over Central State Activities Association foe Morley Stanwood on Friday, falling 4-1.

Mohawks’ freshman pitcher Nick Elenbaas limited the Red Devils to just three hits in a complete game gem.

Two of Holton’s hits came off the bat of Kenny Waltz, who had a single and double.

Wildfong took the loss despite allowing only seven hits in seven innings of work. He struck out four.

With the loss, Holton falls to 7-16 overall and 5-10 in the CSAA.
