The Holton football team fell to Lakeview 48-26 on Friday night in a CSAA Silver Division game, despite gaining nearly 400 yards through the air.
The Red Devils, who trailed 20-12 at halftime, are now 2-5 on the season and 1-4 in league play.
Holton quarterback Blake Fialek threw for 391 yards on 26-for-42 passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Fialek also rushed for 26 yards and one touchdown while running back Zack Fooks ran for 48 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
Brent McLaughlin caught 15 passes for 261 yards and one touchdown for the Red Devils, and Nick Swenson had seven receptions for 93 yards and one score.
Holton’s defense was paced by Mason Butchart with eight tackles while Swenson and Jake Jalovec each recovered a fumble.
