The Muskegon Catholic Central girls basketball squad defeated Fruitport 51-28 in a non-league game on Tuesday night.
The Crusaders led 13-10 after the first quarter, then went on a commanding 17-3 second quarter run to take a 30-13 lead at halftime.
MCC, which is now 10-4 on the season and 4-2 in league play, led 46-21 to help seal the victory.
Isabelle Bertolone led the Crusaders in scoring with 16 points while Jai’Lyn Johnson added seven points and five assists.
Friutport’s Kennah VerMerris scored eights points, Izzy Raven added seven points while Jaydie Hanks put in six points and Emily Dirkse pulled down seven rebounds.
