Boys soccer roundup: Strong second half propels WMC over Reeths-Puffer

The Western Michigan Christian boys soccer team defeated Reeths-Puffer 5-1 on Tuesday in a non-league game.

The Warriors scored four second half goals and were paced by Isiah Barco-Morales and Andrew Rasmusen with two goals apiece.

Hayden Hubers also chipped in for WMC with a goal and an assist.

The Warriors are now 2-0-1 on the season.

The Rockets lone goal was scored by Ashton Carpenter.

NORTH MUSKEGON 8, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 0 – The Norse improved to 3-1 on the season.

Brody Hoffman paced North Muskegon with three goals and an assist while Hudson Richards added two goals.

The Norse also received scoring from Brendan Gannon with a goal and two assists and Trevor Schultz, who chipped in with a goal and an assist.

SHELBY 1, FREMONT 0 – The Tigers lone goal was scored by Matt Felt 10 minutes into the contest.

Uli Escoto picked up an assist for Shelby, which outshot the Packers by an 8-4 margin.
