After suffering through a 1-8 season last year, the Grand Haven football team is suddenly feeling pretty good with a 2-0 record.
The Bucs posted their second win of the young season on Thursday by rallying past Traverse City West 13-10 in non-league action on their home field.
The visiting Titans started off the scoring with a two yard touchdown run early in the second quarter to go up 7-0.
Owen Krizan got the Bucs on the board with a 48-yard touchdown run later in the quarter. The extra point was not converted and the Titans stayed ahead at 7-6.
Before the half the Titans knocked down a 29-yard field goal to go into halftime with a 10-6 lead.
Grand Haven took the lead for good when Connor Worthington scored a touchdown midway through the third quarter.
Worthington led the Bucs on the ground with 119 yards and a touchdown while Bryce Taylor added 32 yards receiving.
Bronson Jewell led Grand Haven on defense with five tackles.
