GRAND RAPIDS – The Reeths-Puffer Rockets scored four touchdowns in the first quarter on Friday night in a 48-7 victory over Grand Rapids Union.

Senior quarterback Antrel Jones was the star of the game with five touchdowns. He rushed for three and passed for two in the OK-Green victory.

Brody Johnson ran 18 and 40 yards for touchdowns in the opening quarter. Then Jones hit Johnson on a 15-yard scoring play later in the quarter. Jones capped the opening quarter onslaught with a 5-yard touchdown run.

In the second quarter, Jones hit Travis Ambrose on a 26-yard pass that pushed the lead to 35-0 at the half.

In the third quarter, Jones found Bryce Ross for a 13-yard touchdown pass, then Jones capped the Rockets’ scoring with a 43-yard run into the end zone.

Jones finished 8-for-9 passing for 122 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for 70 yards and two more scores.

Johnson was the leader on the ground with 12 rushes for 123 yards. He also caught three passes for 36 yards.

Reeths-Puffer (4-2) will host winless Wyoming next Friday at Rocket Stadium. Reeths-Puffer will be celebrating Homecoming during that game.
