Weekend soccer roundup: Two hat tricks help Rockets down Muskegon

The Reeths-Puffer soccer team mercied Muskegon on Saturday with an 8-0 victory.

Andrew Storck and Jaxon Carpenter each led the Rockets with three goals while Logen Austin had two goals.

Tanner O’Neal had two assists in the game for Reeths-Puffer and DaMario Chapman had the shutout victory in net.

Reeths-Puffer is now 5-2-1 overall on the season and 2-1 in OK-Black Conference play.

MONA SHORES 2, KENOWA HILLS 0 – Ethan Brown started the scoring for Mona Shores when he scored off an assist from Luis Zambrano.

Joshua Breen then assisted Jordan DeKuiper for the second goal for the Sailors who are now 4-2 overall and 3-1 in OK-Black Conference play.

Goalkeeper Keegan DeKuiper had the shutout victory in net for Mona Shores.

FRUITPORT 1, SPRING LAKE 1 – After a scoreless first half on Saturday, each team netted a goal in the second half to ultimately tie 1-1.

Logan Manciu had the lone Trojan goal when he scored off an assist from Bryce Lanore.

Justin Luas had nine saves for Fruitport who moves to 3-4-1 overall on the season.
