The Ludington soccer team started their season with a 3-0 record, defeating Shelby 2-0 on Friday before defeating Reeths-Puffer 5-1 and Fruitport 5-0 in the Fruitport Invitational on Saturday.

On Friday, Brayden Porter and Nick Patterson each schored a goal while Isaiah Lynn had an assist and Kyle Wendt had on save.

In the win versus Reeths-Puffer, Lynn, Will Flewelling, Noah Peterson, Porter and Nathan Palmer all had a goal while Peterson and Jack Glanville had two assists each. Lynn also had an assist in the game while Wendt had five saves and Ian Ransom had one save.

In the Fruitport victory, Porter totaled two goals while John Biggs, Stephen Darby, and Flewelling all had one goal. Patterson had two assists in the game while Biggs, Lynn and Connor Schummer all had one assist.

Wendt and Ransom shared the goal keeper duties, totaling one save in the game.
