Hesperia fails to score against Lakeview, drops to 1-4 on the season

The Hesperia football team fell to Lakeview Friday night by a score of 33-0 in a C.S.A.A Silver Division contest.

The Panthers trailed 12-0 after the first quarter and 26-0 heading into the final quarter.

Logan Pearson led the Panthers on the ground, rushing for 95 yards on 20 carries while quarterback Logan Balkema passed for 49 yards.

Jacob Klemundt added 40 yards receiving for Hesperia on three receptions.

Johnny Segura led the Hesperia defense with 13 tackles while Balkema finished with eight. Ashton Arnold chipped in with seven tackles and an interception.

The Panthers are now 1-4 on the season and 1-2 in league play. They will host undefeated Kent City next Friday.
