Weekend Soccer roundup: WMC, North Muskegon and Mona Shores all victorious

The West Michigan Christian soccer team defeated Whitehall 2-1 on Saturday.

Andrew Rasmussen netted the first goal on an assist from Brandon Fles while the second goal came from Hayden Hubers off an assist from Brevin Byrne.

Jamo Goorman picked up the win in net, improving the West Michigan Christian record to 9-1-2 overall.

NORTH MUSKEGON 6, HARBOR SPRINGS 0 –  Dylan Schultz and Hudson Richards each netted two goals in the Norse victory on Saturday.

Also scoring for North Muskegon were Trevor Schultz and Flaviano Mancini while Parker Kersman and Brody Hoffman each had two assists.

Nick Gertsweiler and Jake Hoffer combined to have five saves while helpling the Norse improve to 8-3-2 on the year.

MONA SHORES 7, MUSKEGON 0 – Six different goal scoreres helped Mona Shores defeat Muskegon on Saturday in an OK-Black conference game.

George Deveau led the Sailors with two goals while Camden Deruiter, Ethan Brown, Trevor Baker, Luis Zambrano and Noah Panici all had one goal.

With the victory, Mona Shores improves to 5-3-3 overall and 4-1-2 in conference play.
