The Ludington girls basketball season ended in a Division 2 district semifinal game Wednesday night with a 37-25 loss to Cadillac at Benzie Central.

The Orioles trailed 10-8 after the first quarter, at were shut down in the second stanza, trailing 14-8 at halftime.

Cadillac outscored the Orioles by a 15-4 margin during the third quarter to take a 29-12 advantage heading into the final quarter.

The Orioles closed out the game with a 13-8 run but it wasn’t enough to overcome their deficit. 

Zoee Zatarga led the Orioles with a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Katie Mesyar and Lindsey Holmes added four points apiece. 

The Orioles finished their season with a 15-7 record.
