The Oakridge volleyball team posted a 1-1 record on Thursday in a tri-match.

The Eagles dropped their first match against Spring Lake on serving scores of 23-25, 25-23 and 13-15, then defeated Ludington by scores of 12-25, 25-23 and 15-10.

Riann Fri paced Oakridge with nine kills while Bri Benson added eight.

Emma Fri led the Eagles defensively with 19 digs while Hayden Ruel chipped in with 25 assists and five digs.

FRUITPORT 3, GRAND RAPIDS UNION 0 – The Trojans won the match by scores of 25-10, 25-10, and 25-8.

Leading the Trojans were Andi Quasebarth and Ellie Fisher, recording four kills each.

Sarah Zielinski had 15 digs and three aces while Jenna VanderVelde led the team with seven assists.

The Trojans improved to 2-0 in conference play.

HART 3, HOLTON 0 – The Red Devils won in three straight sets by service scores of 25-7, 25-14 and 25-9 margins.

Ally Seiber paced Holton with three kills, Kennedy Greene had nine digs and Paige Byrnes added an ace.

PENTWATER 3, BRETHREN 0 – The Falcons won by service scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-12 on Thursday.

Jhordan Miller-Rowe paced Pentwater with 17 kills and 13 digs while Terra Cluchey added 12 kills and 15 digs. Mikaylah Cornelissa chipped in with 34 assists.

CSAA

HESPERIA 3, LAKEVIEW 0 – The Hesperia volleyball team remained undefeated in conference play with an easy win.

The set scores were 25-13, 25-16, and 25-17.

The Panthers were led offensively by Rachel Romero and Brooke Billings with seven and six kills, respectively. Emily Bayle and Romero each served up five aces on the night while Kyra Sayer had 11 assists. Defensively, Bayle had 2 solo blocks and 3 digs. Romero led the team with 6 digs.

Hesperia is now 13-4 on the season and 3-0 in CSAA Silver Division play.

WHITE CLOUD 3, HOLTON 0 – The Red Devils dropped three straight sets in the conference match. They put up a fight in the third set, losing 28-26 in overtime.

Scores of the first two sets were 25-12 and 25-8.

Ally Sieber led Holton with four kills. Mariann Kowalski served three aces, Paige Byrnes had 11 assists, while Kennedy Greene and Kylie Gould each recorded 15 digs.
