The Hesperia volleyball team swept Hart in the first round of Division 3 district play.

The Panthers won the match by set scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-17.

Leading the Panther offense was Emily Bayle with 12 kills, Rachel Romero with nine kills, and Delaney Yates with five kills. Kyra Sayer had a team-high 18 assists. Romero and Bayle led the defense with seven and six digs respectively.

The Panthers improve to 37-11-1 after the will next face Mason County Central this Wednesday at 7 p.m. in district semifinal play at Hart.
