Kent City volleyball ends season with loss to Morley Stanwood in district finals

Kent City ended its volleyball season on a quiet note on Thursday, losing to conference rival Morley Stanwood in three sets in the Division 3 district championship match at Morley.

The set scores were 25-18, 25-14, 25-18.

Erica Bull had a good night for Kent City, posting eight kills, while Alyssa Larson and Hannah VanderLugt added five apiece. Jenna Harrison set them up with 16 assists.

On defense, Alyssa Larson and Jasmine Weeks had 14 and 13 digs, respectively.

Kent City finished the season with a 32-14-3 record.
