The Montague boys basketball team picked up a non-conference 54-47 victory over Muskegon Heights on Monday night.
At halftime, Montague trailed 26-25 before outscoring the Tigers 29-21 in the second half including a 20-6 fourth quarter advantage.
Asher Erickson led the Wildcats with 16 points while Logan Metcalf added 12 and Trent Stine scored 10.
Montague is now 4-3 overall and remains 2-2 in conference play while Muskegon Heights falls to 1-6 overall and remains 1-2 in conference play.
HART 54, WHITE CLOUD 48 – Hunter Tubbs of Hart hit a three pointer with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime on Monday.
In the overtime period, Hart outscored Whitehall 12-6 to earn the victory and improve to 4-4 overall on the season.
Tubbs finished with 19 points to lead the Pirates while Ayden Beachum added 14 points and eight rebounds.
