The Ludington girls basketball team capped off a perfect conference season with a win over Orchard View on Friday night.

The Orioles won 45-4 to finish 10-0 in Lakes 8 play and won the league title by two games over second place Western Michigan Christian.

Ludington led 8-0 after the first quarter, 12-0 at halftime and 33-4 heading to the third quarter. 

Zoee Zatarga led Ludington with 10 points. Abi Bandstra scored seven and Hailey Stowe added six. 

The Orioles finish the regular season 16-4. 

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 52, MANISTEE 31 —  The Warriors ended the regular season with a conference win over the Chippewas Friday night. Western Michigan Christian grabbed a 19-7 lead after the first quarter, 32-16 at halftime and 44-22 heading to the fourth. 

Taylor Folkema paced the Warriors with 24 points, six rebounds, six steals. Kyla Wiersema pitched in with 12 points, and Greta Vanderheide scored nine points. 

The Warriors finish the regular season with a 14-6 overall record, including 8-2 in Lakes 8 play.

MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 57, MUSKEGON HEIGHTS 17 — A dominant first half set the tone in a big conference win for MCC. The Crusaders outscored the Tigers 18-4 in the first quarter and 9-2 in the second to lead 27-6 at halftime. 

The Crusaders continued to roll in the third quarter outscoring Muskegon Heights 18-6, making the score 45-12 heading to the fourth quarter.  

 McKenna Gentry paced the Crusaders with 16 points. Jailyn Johnson pitched in with 15 and Peyton Helton scored 11. 

The Crusaders end the regular season 5-15 overall and 3-7 in conference play.
