The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team took home first place on Saturday at an invitational at Kelloggsville.

Wrestlers who took home first place in their weight class were Greg Maynard (103), Jacob Blawat (119), Thade Radosa (145), Jimmy Rozycki (152) and Colby Stephenson (189).

Connor Bloomstrom (112), Alex Chipman (135), Caleb McNeil (160), Payton Dobben (171) and Hunter McCall (215) all took home second place while Kaden Malotke (125) and Gerald Woodland (130) took home fourth.

HART TAKES HOME FIRST – The Hart wrestling team took home first place at the Chippewa Hills Warrior team tournament, finishing the day 5-0.

The Pirates defeated Bullock Creek 60-15, Freeland 65-6, Byron Center 35-30, West Catholic 66-16 and Chippewa Hills 39-31.

Undefeated wrestlers for Hart were Trayce Tate (112), Spencer Vanderzwaag (125), Chance Alvesteffer (130), Fabian Vilches-Mendoza (135), Mason Cantu (140), Jerry Brandel (145) and Braeden Carskadon (215).

MONTAGUE TAKES HOME FOURTH – The Montague wrestling team finished fourth overall at the Loyd Cogswell Invite.

Aiden Perreault (112) and Cale Coppess (119) each finished first overall in their weight class while Kevin Roll (103) and Tristen Winkleblack (112) each placed second.

Owen Fairchild (125) finished third for Montague while Logan Fairchild (140) was fourth in his weight class.
