The Fremont football team fell 46-6 to Reed City in CSAA Gold Division play Friday evening, falling to 1-4 overall on the season.

Reed City outscored the Packers 16-6 in the first quarter.

Payton Mansfield found Elijah Shears for a 33-yard touchdown pass for the lone Fremont score of the night.

Fremont was then outscored 22-0 in the second quarter, making the halftime score 38-6.

Reed City outscored the Packers 8-0 in the third quarter before cruising to victory in the fourth.

Mainsfield led the Packers in rushing with 53 yards on 17 attempts. Tristen Marfia finished with seven rushing attempts for 33 yards. 

Shears led the team with two receptions for 38 yards. 

Defensively, Kam Hornof led the team with seven tackles, while Gabe Van Vleet and Michael Romero finished with five tackles a piece. Gage Montague also recorded four tackles.
