The Spring Lake girls basketball team picked up a conference victory on Saturday, defeating Hudsonville Unity Christian 37-32 in overtime.

The Lakers outscored Unity Christian 7-2 in overtime behind seven free throws.

Jennifer Judge led the Lakers (6-6, 6-6) with 10 points, six rebounds and three steals while Nicole Schmitt chipped in 10 pionts of her own.

MONA SHORES 42, FOREST HILLS EASTERN 19 – The Mona Shores defense only allowed two second quarter points and two fourth quarter points in a win on Saturday.

Olivia Sobczak led the Sailors with 11 points while Lily Miller and Riley Rosenthal each had seven points.

GRAND RAPIDS UNION 67, REETHS-PUFFER 62 – Reeths-Puffer outscored Grand Rapids Union 24-12 in the fourth quarter but were unable to overcome the deficit.

Sophia Hekkema led the Rockets with 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Brooklynn Torrens and Arrionna Williams added nine points each.

WALKERVILLE 47, PENTWATER 39 – Pentwater entered halftime tied with Walkerville but were outscored 25-17 in the final two quarters.

Mikaylyn Kenney led the Falcons (3-6) with 14 points on the night while also pulling down 16 rebounds.

KENT CITY 52, CEDAR SPRING 25 – Kenzie Bowers led the Eagles with 19 points in the victory on Saturday.

Maddie Geers had 10 points while Lexie Bowers finished with nine as the Kent City girls improved to 14-0 on the season.

GRAND HAVEN 55, GRANDVILLE 31 – Grand Haven jumped out to a 15-3 first quarter lead on Saturday and never looked back.

Zoe Spoelman led the Bucs with 18 points while Molly Long added 14 points.

Grand Haven is now 3-9 overall and in OK-Red Conference play.
