The Spring Lake soccer team defeated Mona Shores 1-0 on Monday night in a tight non-conference game.

The game was scoreless for 60 minutes before Meah Bajt of the Lakers found the back of the net for the game winning goal. Bajt was assisted by Eryn Bouwhuis on the goal.

Spring Lake is now 8-2-1 on the season while Mona Shores is now 10-3-1 overall and remain 7-0 in the OK-Green conference.

FOREST HILLS NORTHERN 3, REETHS-PUFFER 1 – The Rockets fell to 5-3-4 on the season with a loss to Forest Hills Northern.

Sophia Hekkema scored the lone Reeths-Puffer goal off an assist from Brooke Bradley.

Tessa Lamphere and Ava Klopp totaled a combined 12 saves on the night.

ORCHARD VIEW 3, MANISTEE 0 – Orchard View defeated Lakes 8 conference opponent Manistee on Monday night, improving to 7-2-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.

Kyah McGruther, Kylee Carmean and Aleya Jones each scored for Orchard View while McGruther also assisted on a goal.

KENT CITY 2, NEWAYGO 2 – The Eagles tied Newaygo on Monday night, bringing their record to 5-4-2 overall and 1-3-2 in the CSAA Silver Division.

Olivia Hearth led the Eagles with one goal an one assist while Maddie Geers also had a goal on the day.

LUDINGTON 2, WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 0 – Hailey Stowe and Sophia Cooney each found the back of the net for the Orioles on Monday.

Goalkeeper Keelyn Laird got the shutout victory for Ludington.

The Orioles are now 10-4 overall on the season and 6-0 in conference action.
