The Fremont Packers’ soccer team didn’t let an early deficit hold it back from a rallying in its CSAA travels to Howard City Tri-County on Thursday.

Logan Nelson lifted the Packers to a 2-2 tie in the final seconds of the game off a John Visa corner kick. 

Fremont fell behind 1-0 after Tri-County’s  Matt Stevens scored on an assist from Dylan Mulnix.

The score was 1-0 going into the second half.

Fremont’s Connor Roesler tied the score 1-1 on a Carson Herman assist.

Tri County responded five minutes later with a Jamie Gomez goal.

Fremont’s Carter Miller made nine saves in net for the Packers.

The Vikings outshot Fremont 11-7 as Liam Prins posted five saves in goal. 

Fremont now goes to 3-1-4 and 3-0-2 in the conference while Tri County moves to 4-5-2 with a 1-0-1 conference record.
