The Greater Muskegon Co-op girls swim team swam hard but battled just short to TK-Hastings 107-79 on Thursday.

The Turtles swam to 30 personal record swims despite the loss.

Caroline Carlson went all out and did everything she could to lead the Lady Turtles.

Carlson won in the 200 Free with a time of 2:11.15 and the 100 Back with a MISCA cut time of 1:05.71.

Also helping out in team events, Carlson teamed up with Naomi Huttenga and Sydney Sytsema to win the 200 Medley Relay at 2:02.33. She also partnered up with Sytsema, Gabby Gaston and Robyn Hunt to win the 400 Free Relay at a time of 4:02.25.

Robyn Hunt took first place in the 500 Free Relay with 5:55.26.

The team falls to 1-2 this season.

The Turtles look to regroup and get ready for O-K Rainbow Conference foes Holland at home Tuesday.
