The Lady Turtles swim team hit rough water against state ranked Holland Christian on Tuesday.

The Turtles swam to ten personal record swims, despite the 101-75 loss.

The day was led by first-place finishes of Caroline Carlson in the 200 Free (2:10.25) and Robyn Hunt in the 500 Free (5:52.83).

Also taking first was the 200 Medley Relay team of Caroline Carlson, Naomi Huttenga, Robyn Hunt and Sydney Sytsema with a time of 2:02.51. Also taking first place was the 400 Relay team of Hunt, Sytsema, Gabby Gaston and Carlson with a time of 4:12.25.

Millie Curow set personal records in the 200 Free with 2:29.95 and the 100 Free with a time of 1:07.59 while Natalie Lorenz set a personal record in the 500 Free with 7:16.59.

The Lady Turtles drop to 2-3 and are now 1-1 in the O-K Rainbow conference.

Next match for the Turtles will be at home on Tuesday against Hamilton.
