Greater Muskegon co-op girls swim team falls to Spring Lake

The Greater Muskegon co-op swim team swam hard against O-K Rainbow rival Spring Lake on Tuesday coming up short with the Lakers winning 109-77.

The Turtles swam to six first place finishes and five second place finishes, despite the loss.

The team of Caroline Carlson, Naomi Huttenga, Robyn Hunt and Sydney Systema posted a first place finish in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:03.04 and the 200 Free Relay with 1:49.22.

With first place finishes, Caroline Carlson in the 100 Back with a time of 1:05.13, Sydney Systema in the 50 Free with 26.95 and the 100 Free with a tine of 59.47 and in the 200IM Robyn Hunt with a season best 2:28.26.

Caroline Carlson swam a season best 2:07.43 in the 200 Free and a season best for Robyn Hunt in the 500 Free with 5:49.39.

The Lady Turtles will be at home on Thursday against Ludington.
