Paschal Jolman breaks off 90-yard TD run to lift Fruitport over Allendale

Paschal Jolman ran for a 90-yard touchdown to break the tie to give Fruitport a 22-14 O-K Blue Conference victory over Allendale on Friday night.

Jolman finished with a game-high 184 yards on the ground.

Quarterback Gavin Reames went 5-for-10 for 135 yards and a touchdown for the Trojans (4-4, 3-3 O-K Blue).

Aiden Vela led the way with 60-yard touchdown reception and 70 yards receiving while Nash Cooper had a 49-yard catch.

The Trojans’ defense was led by Collin Jolman’s 12 tackles while Cooper and A.B. Fielstra posted nine tackles.

Taking away the pass game the best they could, the Trojans’ Cody Nash snagged an interception with eight tackles and Vela also pulled in a pick and five tackles.

Also recording tackles A.J. Fielstra and Ricky Wiggins had six tackles and five tackles respectively.

Fruitport will be home against the undefeated Michigan Division 4 No. 1-ranked Unity Christian in league action to wrap up the regular season.
