The Mona Shores girls basketball team pushed its win streak to five with a 54-33 O-K Green Conference win over Zeeland East on Friday evening.

The Sailors did most of their damage early as they went up 12-5 after one quarter and outscored the Chix 20-5 in the second quarter to build a whopping 32-10 lead by the half.

Multiple Sailors contributed in the dominating win.

Khaleeya Cook led the way scoring 13 points while Olivia Sobczak followed close behind putting up 12 points. Lily Miller chipped in nine points while Jenna Tierman and Lauren Hylland threw in seven points and six points, respectively.

Mona Shores improves to a solid 14-2 and sits at second place in the league with a record of 9-1. The Sailors will travel to Reeths-Puffer on Tuesday to battle the Rockets in conference action.
