MUSKEGON — Shelby’s baseball team took on Orchard View in a non-conference doubleheader on the road Saturday, but only played the first game. because of rain.

Shelby cruised past Orchard View 8-0.

Lalo Garcia-Blake and Joseph Hayes combined to limit the Cardinals to only two hits and rang up 11 strike outs.

Trey Waller paced the Tigers at the plate with three hits, while Garcia, Blake Stovall and Travis Boughan each had two hits. Boughan drove in two runs.
