HOLLAND — Scoring a total of 19 runs on the day, the Reeths-Puffer softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader over Holland West Ottawa on the road Friday afternoon, 10-2 and 9-1.

In the first game, Caitlyn Duffey was in the pitcher’s circle for the Rockets and earned the victory, allowing only three hits and striking out six.

The Rockets rapped out a total of 10 hits in the contest, with Duffey helping her own cause with a three-run home run. Natalie Kunnen clouted a two-run shot and had two singles.

Brooklyn Rought ripped a double and also had a single, Kaylee Jones also had a pair of hits with a double and single and Megan Barmes knocked out a pair of singles.

Mady Snyder collected her first pitching win of the young season in Game 2, giving up just four hits and ringing up eight strikeouts.

Jones had a double and a single, and Kunnen punched out a pair of singles to lead the Rockets’ 8-hit parade.
