MUSKEGON—Muskegon Big Reds’ Devin Bartee signed his national letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Grace Christian University in Grand Rapids.

A ceremony was held at Redman-Potter Gymnasium recently.

The 5-11 guard was a member of the Big Reds’ varsity team the past two seasons.

This is a great day for us and a great, great day for Devin,” Muskegon Big Reds basketball coach Keith Guy said. “It’s always been a goal of Devin’s to play basketball at the next level. I couldn’t be more happy for this young man. He has worked his butt off to get to where he is right now.

This is what it is all about, championships and scholarships,” Guy said. “He’s put in a lot of work in both on the court and in the classroom. I’m really excited for him to be able to go on and play at Grace Christian University. They are getting a great player and an even better person.

The Tigers, a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, are coming off 17-15 season.

Bartee will major in Business at Grace.

Devin is the son of Sandreka Todd.
