May strikes out nine as Ravenna shuts out Shelby 8-0

SHELBY — Ravenna’s baseball team closed out the regular season Tuesday afternoon by shutting out Shelby, 8-0 on the road.

Travis May was the winning pitcher, going the distance and scattering six hits while striking out nine batters.

Dayton Thomas was the Bulldogs’ leading hitter, going 3-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI. Tyler Bradtmueller went 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Luke Meyers, Thomas McCullough, Brandon McFarren and Drew Mabrito each drove in a run.
