MONTAGUE – The North Muskegon baseball team swept Montague in a doubleheader on Wednesday.

The Norse blanked the Wildcats 15-0 in the opening game and cruised to a 10-2 victory in the nightcap.

Pitcher Logan Slimko gave up no runs, no hits, one walk and had nine strikeouts in four innings for the Norse.

Ben Meyers had two hits, two RBI and scored two runs, while Bryce Colbert posted one hit, two RBI and scored four runs. Bronson Hurst had a hit, two RBI and two runs. Jaxon Bean added a double and two RBI.

In the nightcap, NM pitcher Kylan Nielsen gave up four hits and two runs in six innings of work.

Ryan Delora had two hits, one a double, and three RBI, while Meyers had a double, single, scored two runs and knocked in two runs. Colbert chipped in a double, single and three RBI. Carter Meiler had two hits and two RBI.
