SHELBY — Oakridge’s girls softball team swept a West Michigan Conference doubleheader from Shelby, 15-0 and 19-0 on the road Tuesday afternoon to win its sixth consecutive conference title with a 14-0 record.

The Eagles have lost only one conference game over the past six years.

Brooklyn Galdleen was the winning pitcher in the opener, throwing six innings and giving up just one hit, walking one and striking out 10 batters.

Kaelin Jozsa had two singles with two RBI and Galdeen also had two singles and two RBI. Ahria Doombos had a double and two RBI.

Delaney Ruel had three hits and three RBI, while Jasmine Pastor had a double and a single and two RBI.

The second game went only three innings. Kylee Willea was the winning pitcher. She gave up only one hit, no walks and struck out two.

Galdeen had a grand slam home run and a double with five RBI, while Mallori Whipple had a triple and single with three RBI and Pastor added a double and single with three RBI.

Oakridge improved to 27-4.
